“We” and “us” mean Edsol Asia Limited. “You” means anyone using this website.

This website describes what we do and how we work. It is published for information, and to give school leaders a way to start a conversation with us.

Nothing on this website is professional advice for your school. Every school carries its own structure, staffing, regulatory position and history, and any recommendation we make follows from looking at yours. Where we describe regulatory requirements — Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, the EDB Code of Practice, or any other instrument — we do so in general terms. Whether and how those requirements apply to your school is a question for your school and its own advisers.

Sending an enquiry, requesting a consultation, or holding a conversation with us does not create a contract, and neither party is committed by it.

Where we go on to work together, that work is governed by a separate written agreement between us and your school, together with a statement of work describing what is being done. Those documents govern the engagement. Nothing on this website adds to them, limits them, or varies them.

The text, structure, design and downloadable documents on this website are owned by Edsol Asia Limited or used with permission, except where a document is attributed to another organisation, in which case it belongs to them.

You are welcome to read our material, print it, and forward it to colleagues — that is what it is for. Please do not republish it as your own, or reproduce it commercially, without asking us first. We are usually happy to say yes.

Where we describe or link to a platform operated by another organisation, that platform is theirs. Its performance, security, hosting arrangements and terms of use are matters between you and its provider, and we point you to their own documentation rather than paraphrase it.

Where we hold a commercial relationship with a provider we recommend, we tell you so at the point we recommend it.

External links are offered because they are useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

We take care to keep this website accurate and current. Content may change without notice, and material describing a service, a partner platform or a regulatory position reflects our understanding at the time of writing.

We do not undertake that the website will be available without interruption. Access may be suspended for maintenance, or affected by matters outside our control.

Liability arising from work we carry out for a school is dealt with in the agreement covering that work, not here.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from use of this website.

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date it was last changed.
