How we handle your data
Working in your school’s environment
Wherever practical, we build dashboards and automations in your school’s Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environment. We agree the setup, access and support for each project before work begins.
Agreed AI and data handling
Your school owns its data. We discuss and agree the software and AI tools for each project in a schedule of work signed by both parties.
Where school data needs to be processed outside its environment for analysis or AI use, we de-identify it on an encrypted device before submitting it to the agreed tool. Any school data and identification files held on our device are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed.
Partner platforms
Atlantis is licensed by your school directly from Atlantis, hosted on Atlantis’s Australian infrastructure under their security arrangements. Atlantis pays Edsol Asia a commission for implementing and supporting it. We will point you to Atlantis’s own documentation rather than paraphrase it, and set out what everything costs before you commit. Our advice on whether it fits your school comes before any recommendation.
ACCESS
Graduated by role, by design
We agree access permissions with your school. Heads of Faculty and Department can see the information needed for their responsibilities, while senior leaders can see the wider picture. Access to sensitive information is restricted to the roles agreed for each project.
Regulatory ground
We design each project around your school’s policies and the requirements that apply where it operates. We agree the approval routes, access controls and records needed before building.
For your ICT team
We agree the technical requirements, access arrangements and support responsibilities with your ICT team before work begins.
